Planet Painter
Control a space ship that terraforms from orbit. You are converting red lava planets into green forests. The goal is to paint the whole planet while keeping an eye on your solar power. I am still working on a way to count your progress, but for now there is no winning condition.
Controls
- Wheel-up or W: increase speed.
- Wheel-down or S: slow down.
- LMB or A: turn left.
- RMB or D: turn right.
Gameplay
- Increase/decrease speed to keep your ship in the sunlight.
- If the power meter on bottom right goes down to zero, your ship will stop.
- Flying over the surface flattens the red volcanic rocks and turns them into green forest land.
Audio
There is no music or sound yet.
Performance
Linux binaries and browsers will work. Chrome will work after about 20s of loading. The windows binary will start and run fine, but can take up to 1.5min to load. Firefox on windows hangs.
Online version runs a little slower than the downloads, please try those if you like the game.

Looks cool
but i Don't understand
It's work in progress. The idea is that you will win when you convert 100% of the planet. Thank you for trying it!
I don't understand how the game works, I don't see anything change on the planet.
I wanted to have the ship paint those gray lines on the green planet, but still havent figured out how to do that:( Need to learn more about the game engine and how to draw on a texture live. Thanks for looking though!
use mouce...?
It's possible, but optional if you are coming from the Mini Jam 74 ;)
